An afternoon of shopping in Rome

Enjoy a few hours of pure relaxation, walking through the most fashionable streets of the capital, is an experience not to be missed! In the area of the Trident, close to the Spanish Steps, there are the streets of Roman fashion: Via Condotti and Via Borgognona. Here are the headquarters of the most important Italian designers, and much more. Luxury boutiques and historic ateliers; to name just one: Valentino and laboratories of the finest craftsmanship.

Salvatore Ferragamo

Via Condotti is a succession of clothes and accessory shops of the most prestigious fashion houses. From Gucci to Giorgio Armani, from Prada to Salvatore Ferragamo, from Alberta Ferretti to Dolce & Gabbana. But there’s also Battistoni, a temple of classic style and timeless, and Furla, with its collection of trendy accessories. It’s like retracing Milan’s Fashion Week, like a giant parade of garments and accessories.
Near the church of Trinità degli Spagnoli, there is Federico Buccellati and his jewellery workshop, and Alberto Bolaffi , the most famous shop in Rome for lovers of philately, numismatics and collecting in general, and Modigliani for ceramics and crafts of high quality.
In Via Borgognona, it's the turn of Roberto Cavalli, Ermanno Scervino and Emilio Pucci. But the two names not to miss are Fendi and Laura Biagiotti , trademarks tied to the capital from their very start.

Spazioif

For those who want a shopping experience that’s more cool and less conventional, a must is a visit to Spazioif, in Via dei Coronari 44. In this studio gallery, elements of design, paintings and contemporary art installations combine with collections of clothing and handmade accessories. A perfect example of coexistence among different forms of creativity.
Take note of this as well! In Via Governo Vecchio 67, there is the boutique of Delfina Delettrez, daughter of Silvia Venturini Fendi. Here, you’ll find unique jewellery, which is almost dreamlike but very glam and famous all over the world!
After this long afternoon of shopping, I can only advise you to go back to the hotel. A little rest is needed to regain your strength before Rome by night!
