
Taste, the showroom of food & wine excellence in Florence, is a true paradise for those who love Italy and its best products. The event is organized by Pitti Immagine with the cooperation of Davide Paolini, the Italian "gastronaut" and winner of the "Food & Wine Multimedia Journalism" prize awarded by the French International Academy of Food & Wine. An all-Italian room of dining and wellbeing where the best international operators of elite food & wine come together. This year, too, the public of foodies anxiously awaits the event, which has come to its seventh edition, and which has asserted itself as the most prominent gathering venue for wine stewards, master chefs, foodbloggers, and experts of the trade, but especially for producers, who with their labor and skill succeed in rendering the authentic value of quality Italian food. The event will be showcased in the premises of the Leopolda Station in Florence and the adjacent Alcatraz area: remarkably fascinating locations with some of the rooms dedicated to product exhibitioners and their offers of food & wine tasting and interesting facts on the manufacturing process. The setting features a series of round-table meetings on current affairs tied to the world of food and an area where guests can purchase special food & wine products. From homemade Italian pasta, to the most particular cheeses of the territory, to the best Italian wines.
All of Florence will be involved in the FuoridiTaste events, the event's off-program to which restaurants, inns, wine bars, boutiques, art galleries, theaters, and museums will participate, in a rich schedule of food & wine happenings that fans cannot afford to miss.
