Grazie Mille! Thank you to all of you who participated in our fun promotion of #ItalianTalksPromo. We ran this competition as our way of saying thank you and showing appreciation and now it’s time to announce the 1st-place winner and runner-up.

Congratulations to @italophilia, ISHITA SOOD, our first-place winner! Ishita posted the most tweets and retweets over all the other entries, as well as retweeting the Italian Talks tweets promoting the competition. As mentioned in the original post, Ishita has won a one-night stay at one of the Baglioni Hotels in Italy, and this award must be claimed by May 31st 2015.

IshitaOur second-place winner is @jalexgriffith, ALEX GRIFFITH. Congratulations!
Alex has won a complimentary lunch or dinner for two at one of the Baglioni 5-star hotel restaurants (Carlton Hotel Baglioni is excluded). This award must be claimed by May 31st 2015. Although many of the other entries expressed a passion for Italy, Alex’s tweet about a visit to Florence with his wife and children touched our heart.
AlexFrom the numerous entries we received these were some of our favourites….
