From 9-11 March, the 8th annual TASTE. IN VIAGGIO CON LE DIVERSITÀ DEL GUSTO takes place at Stazione Leopolda in Florence. The show, organized by Pitti Immagine in partnership with food blogger Davide Paolini, focuses on taste excellence and the food lifestyle. It has become known as the Italian show on eating and living well. The best Italian and international haute cuisine professionals are a fixture here but more and more dedicated foodies are also in attendance, the frontline for quality food and new flavour trends.
Two hundred and eighty companies will participate this year (up from 263 last year), selected for their quality and niche production from all the regions of Italy. They will offer their products in the exhibition halls at Stazione Leopolda.
Visitors will have the option of taking a stroll through the flavours of the products offered along the Taste Tour in order to discover and find out more about the culinary offerings of our country: a trip rich in discoveries, traditions and innovation.
Taste Tools is an area dedicated to food & kitchen design as well as all the tools that a professional or home chef needs to cook: clothes and technical and professional equipment for the kitchen.
The Taste Shop is the store with exclusive foods, more than 1,500 catalogue products and more than 21,000 items sold last year. Here, you can buy the products displayed and sample them as you shop.
If you are interested in listening as well as seeing and tasting, the Taste Ring, the cultural-culinary arena, is the place for you.
But that is not all: FuoriDiTaste is the pre-show program that includes a calendar of wine and food events that involve Florence in Taste Week and puts the city’s restaurants, delis, shops, art galleries, theatres and museums at the forefront. A full calendar that lights up the city and its hot spots with themed dinners and tastings, shows and performances, events and new trends to present quality food
