Until March 28, the Vanitas Gallery (via Revere 6, Milan – the new exhibition gallery connected to the very unique Vanitas store in via Vincenzo Monti 41), is hosting a very interesting photographic exhibition including works from some of the great masters of the 20th century, such as Demarchelier, Sieff, Baron Wolman, Eric Valli, Pèrier, Christhoper Thomas and others.
This array of visual moments sketches a short historical profile of the last forty years, carved from lighter moments linked to the world of cinema and fashion, paired with more intense ones, such as armed conflicts or scenes from the worlds far away from the Occident.
There are photographs that made history, like those appearing on the cover of Life, Vanity Fair, National Geographic, as well as famous faces and historic testimonials. These original photographs show great technological skill with a strong aesthetic and creative component.
